We've been living in a snow globe over the last couple of days which is magical if you have the luxury of snuggling somewhere cozy without a care in the world, or a nightmare if you're needing to shovel or venture anywhere.

I don't think we've seen this much snow in years, which is somewhat amusing now that our SUV has given up the ghost and we're left with my little sports coupe which isn't great in winter weather. Right now my husband and son are outside in a snowstorm, trying to knock down the couple of feet that were dropped since yesterday.

I saw my neighbour with his boys hard at work and asked my 14 year old to go see if his dad needed help with shoveling. I told him his dad probably wouldn't take him up on it, but that didn't turn out to be the case. Oh well. Shoveling builds muscles and character, right? Thankfully, my son doesn't hold grudges and in no way thinks I tricked him. 🤣
