Hi Reader,

It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and the weather isn't feeling very festive just yet. The weather has been glorious, sitting around 20 degrees Celsius and just beautiful. With the exception of one morning that had FROST (!), it's been perfect for a light coat which is my favourite temperature.

For more than five years, I've been doing a weekly hike with a group of seniors. I ran into them one day at the waterfront and got to speaking with the hike leader. He mentioned his walking group and told me when they met and I actually showed up the next week which was a huge stretch for me as I don't like putting myself into unfamiliar situations with new people. However, because they love taking pictures just as much as I do, the "hike" wasn't much of a hike at all. Just a long, leisurely nature walk where anything that looked cool was photographed 100 different ways.

Even though everyone is apx. 20 years older than me, they're just my speed. Plus I love helping to pick things up when someone drops something. Or if they want to get that perfect shot of something low to the ground, I will take it for them and help spare their knees.

Of course, with my recent shoulder injury, I can't do any of those things at the moment. In fact, I was worried my injury might make going on a group walk difficult and almost didn't go. The weather was so beautiful, I decided to put my fears aside and went anyway. Well, I'm glad I did because I was treated to a rare sight: seeing salmon swimming up the river for most of the trail.

It was the most salmon I've ever seen at one time and I think we actually saw them spawning! All of us crowded around to take pictures of this rare event which we dubbed "salmon porn" 🤣

Lately, I've been giving in too easily when it comes to skipping my walks so I'm happy that I forced myself to push through my fears as I would have regretted not being there for that event. And although my shoulder issues don't seem to be getting better just yet, I'm trying not to let my injury stop me from enjoying the things I love but at least I was able to get out and take advantage of the beautiful weather.

I'm trying to apply the same logic to my newsletter so you'll be hearing more from me as I slowly get back into the swing of things. I hope to be back to a more regular writing schedule soon. 💗

🤖 ENDS TOMORROW: YOUR NEW AI BIZ BESTIE (WITH BONUSES!)

One of my favourite biz coaches, Naima Sheikh, is running a new live round of Portable AI Studio When you join by October 12th, you not only get the coolest tool designed to use AI to manage your entire workflow and business without being disrupted by every AI disruption. Consider it the equivalent of an AI Executive Assistant , except you don't need to pay this one a weekly salary.

Where the magic lies is that this tool can manage everything - the sessions you've run with Claude/ChatGPT that are hanging in limbo, how your latest Facebook ads are doing, newsletters you've started to draft, a sales page you started working on but didn't quite publish yet ...

You know, the typical list of a multipassionate business owner - lots and LOTS of work-in-progress.

And it isn't just a task manager. It's a page builder, researcher, number cruncher or whatever you need to get stuff done, make your ideas tangible, and get them out into the world.

This is a super simple system that gives your AI a real home base, so you stop the cycle of starting from a blank chat, and having to re-explain yourself ad nauseum. It works with whatever AI tool you already use.

Specifically, it:

• gives you an organized starting point for your context, voice, messy notes, and your current work so your important assets are never lost or forgotten.
• shows what is active, what is waiting, and what is ready to pick back up.
• works with Claude, ChatGPT, and most AI models so you're never locked into one tool
• comes with a starter kit and quick start guide to move you from a heap of downloaded files that you need to deal with to a bonafide fully working studio...fast.

If you have a zillion half-finished projects and can never remember where you left off, this is a dedicated, custom workspace where your docs, your work, your tools and your fave AI helpers, come together, so you'll never have to waste time hunting stuff down, explaining, or starting from scratch.

And when you join before 11:59 pm Eastern on Monday, October 12th, you'll also receive BONUSES consisting of Brand Voice DNA, and Voice Vixen!

If you're someone who has trouble keeping all your AI chats, notes, unfinished projects and zillion open tabs organized, make sure to pick this up before the deadline and claim those sweet bonuses! The sale ends on Monday, October 12th, at 11:59 pm EST.

✨BONUS - If you pick up Naima's super useful software, receive a $100 in Lara Loot to spend in my shop with no expiry. New additions (including trainings and courses) coming soon.
