Yesterday I was excited to check out the full moon as it's a Supermoon, namely the Harvest Moon, which is also called the Corn Moon.
​
Well, it was overcast the whole day and that didn't change later in the evening, so I didn't bother going but I have a good shot at seeing it tonight as the forecast calls for clear skies.
​
One interesting thing to note is yesterday's full moon had a luminosity of 99.6% but tonight's is technically better at 99.7%. Usually the full moon on the first day is usually the highest in percentage, so the fact that tonight is a teensy bit brighter is something I haven't noticed in the past.
​
