I've been down with a nasty flu for over a week. I can't seem to stop coughing and I think I may have cracked a rib. I don't think I've ever coughed this much but I'm hoping to turn the corner soon. If anyone has any tried and true home remedies to stop a cough, please drop me a line.

So far, with a flood, our car being a write off with the motor being blown, as well as coming down with what feels like the bubonic plague, 2025, and the start of the Year of the Snake, hasn't been off to the wonderful start I had planned.

Normally I have a long list of tasks I perform before the start of the Lunar New Year, but because I've been so sick, I wasn't able to complete about 95% of those tasks. Well, at least that shows commitment. 🤣
​
On a brighter note, Design Cuts posted this week on Facebook of a solution for their customers to access their downloads! This is incredible news for anyone who was relieved to have a solution, yet dreading using the workaround I offered last week, which wasn't exactly a time saver.

​As most of you have already seen, Design Cuts sadly had to close our doors January 16th. Regretfully, this is not something we were able to announce prior to closure.
​
Following closure, we had kept a team on hand to help customers in need, but realised seeing volumes of requests, that our plans for serving past downloads weren't sufficient.
​
We quickly set to work implementing a more robust solution, which we've been rolling out in a staggered fashion for the past week, in order to thoroughly test it and ensure it's working well.
​

Simply visit this page, login to your DC account like normal, and you can download any past purchases that you haven't previously. If you have any issues, please contact hello@designcuts.com.

We’re in close talks with some of our top course instructors and are working to find a solution for courses ASAP. From the sounds of it, my recommendation would be to download your items as quickly as possible as who knows how long they'll have this workaround offered.

It won't be without its challenges, but if you're reading this now and have still yet to grab your products, avoid the stress of waiting too long and start the download process as soon as possible.
