It's March Break for us here so I'm making a point of spending a lot less time on the computer this week. (With the exception of this newsletter which has already taken a tad longer than I'd had hoped.) 🤣

I spent a good chunk of time plundering the depths of Appsumo to uncover some useful new finds which I've shared with you further down in this email.

But it got me thinking. If you're anything like me, have you ever found yourself agonizing over whether or not to buy something and not knowing what to do?

Here's a way of re-framing the question which I thought might be helpful.

When deciding if you want to buy a certain course, product, service, etc - or maybe you've decided to buy but are still debating what tier to purchase (ie: on Appsumo)

How do you make a wise decision? To buy or not to buy? What about the bump? The upsell? Extra codes? etc etc. I still find myself wrestle with these decisions on occasion.

Case in point: Last night, after trying to decide what tier I should buy on Appsumo, I went into Chatty and asked for it to compare the features at each level. Chatty kept saying get Tier 1! and I kept arguing: "But what if I need the higher tier in my biz and kick myself for not getting it after it's gone?"

This is what Chatty came back with. I definitely needed the reminder considering the amount of stuff I've purchased which I still haven't used, so I thought it worth sharing. 😁

1️⃣ The AppSumo question that prevents most regret purchases

Before buying any AppSumo tool, ask:

“Do I already have a real use for this in the next 60 days?”

Not:

“Could I use this someday?”

“Maybe I’ll build something later?”

Because future-proof buying is where most AppSumo regret comes from.

The safest pattern is:
