By now I'm sure you're experiencing EBFF. (Extreme Black Friday Fatigue.) The good news is, we're almost done so you can get back to normalcy. I just wanted to share a Black Friday from my younger days. My dear hubby (DH) who at the time, I had been dating for a few months, went away to Chicago for Thanksgiving. I found an amazing deal that included airfare and a stay at the W hotel for the weekend. For you Americans, Thanksgiving is a time for family so this is probably why the deal was so good. But for me, it was the perfect time to celebrate my birthday AND engage in my favourite pastime. Shopping AND finding amazing deals.

DH turned to me and pulled out a sheet of paper. I made a list of all the stores I thought you'd like and mapped the route. I know exactly where to go. And that's what we did. We took the subway to Neiman's, Nordstrom (and all the US chains we didn't have here) plus boutiques and other fun stuff.

We got to see all the beautiful window displays, ate deep dish pizza and on the way back to the hotel, the snow started softly falling, blanketed the city in a beautiful, hushed carpet of white.

Here's a pic of DH hauling all my goodies back to the hotel (right before the snowstorm.) That's when I realized, Yep. He's definitely a keeper! 💗💗💗
